On site visits

When you interact with elephants in close quarters, it’s hard to dispute the importance of conservation.  Seeing and hearing the animals in our carefully curated environment can be a transformational moment.

Just know that while our “girls” came from the circus, Hope Elephants is not a circus. Don’t expect to ride, pet or feed the elephants. What you can expect is to be amazed, to learn and—we hope—to be inspired to do what you can to protect the resources and creatures in our midst.

All visitors must sign-up in advance for a scheduled presentation. We do not allow walk-up visitors. Simply contact us at:

207-230-7830 or [email protected]

We do request that you make a donation. Donations are our lifeblood. They fund the care of our elephants, the maintenance of our facilities and the delivery of our educational programming. We suggest $15/person, $10 for children under the age of 12.

Virtual visits

Seeing the elephants in real-time has a ton of impact. And since our goal is to educate as many people as possible we want to make sure that even when you can’t come to us, we can bring Rosie and Opal to you. Technology such as Skype has allowed us to teach classes to thousands of students. Let us know if you’d like us to bring Hope Elephants (virtually) into your classroom, your boardroom or your livingroom.

We only ask that you consider a donation that reflects the size of your group or organization. Donations are our lifeblood. They fund the care of our elephants, the maintenance of our facilities and the delivery of our educational programming. We suggest $15/person, $10 for children under the age of 12.
